Electronic Security Innovations Come Together at Stanley’s Convergence Center of Excellence
Noblesville, IN (January 20, 2010)—With its new Convergence Center of Excellence (CCE), Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Inc., SDM’s 2009 Dealer of the Year, is breaking the traditional mold for electronic security by taking a comprehensive partnership approach to identifying customer needs to customize systems integration solutions. The CCE takes a customer-centric systems integration approach to a higher level of support and infrastructure by establishing a centralized organization, dedicated to enterprise-level integration solutions, design, delivery and support to customers across North America.
Stanley’s Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) offering, The Commander, provides a fully integrated solution utilizing touch screen technology for better, faster and more informed decisions and actions.
“There is a paradigm shift in the system integration and physical security information management space, which is changing the overall security industry landscape and solutions’ approach, as to how these complex enterprise-level integrated and convergent systems are specified, designed, delivered and supported throughout the customers’ project life cycle,” said Damon Kanzler, Stanley CSS vice president national account operations.
Departing from the traditional, segmented approach to security systems integration, Stanley CSS has long believed that customers seek comprehensive solutions that avoid the various disconnects and gaps between the vendors, solution providers and the end-users. This approach includes technical competency, domain expertise and project managementcentric solutions that address the customers’ broader business goals and objectives, the company stated.
The CCE team comprises manufacturer-certified technology professionals and engineers, certified .NET software developers and Microsoft-certified enterprise-level professionals. It consists of application engineers, system engineers, computer-aided design engineers, project coordinators, project managers, program managers, commissioning engineers, certified software specialists, senior systems analysts and team leaders. Starting with system concept and scope design through delivery with project management, and continuing with ongoing solutions support, the CCE supports all of the company’s integrated and enterprise security solutions and services.
Located in Noblesville, Ind., the CCE organization is integrated with the company’s more than 1,900 employees operating from more than 75 field offices across North America. “By bringing together previously separated, specialized clusters, the CCE is able to utilize its top talent to increase sales, accuracy of equipment requirements, operating margins and ultimately customer satisfaction,” states Stanley CSS.
