Stanley introduces Commander, eSubscribe, Sonitrol iBase and enhances its National Account Performance Scorecard

(Stanley CSS) introduces a line-up of new products, services and technology at ASIS International 55th Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Anaheim, California, September 21-23, 2009. The new offerings include iBase, Commander, eSubscribe and Performance Scorecard enhancements.

The Commander: New Generation PSIM

The Commander is a new comprehensive, engineered, physical security management and control systems platform from Stanley CSS for most command and control center applications. The Commander is a proven, scalable, non-proprietary software platform that bolts on most disparate security facilities’ information and notification sub-systems. Commander is a new generation Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solution that bridges the overall gaps and disconnects between the physical security, facilities and the overall enterprise management.

Providing instant access to actionable information to make better, faster and more informed decisions, the Commander helps connect enterprise security, improve staff and system performance, reduce labor and maintenance costs and help meet regulatory compliances all provided with innovative, user friendly and proven touch screen display.

eSubscribe – Report Subscriptions on Demand

Stanley CSS also announces the latest addition to its suite of online eServices, eSubscribe – Report Subscriptions on Demand. Now, administrators can mark their favorite recurring report requests to be automatically delivered to their e-mail inbox on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Reports such as Alarm Incidents, Service, Billing, Video Open & Close, Access Control Logs and many more can be delivered in Excel™, Adobe PDF™ or HTML format. Each report can be requested online, as before, with the addition of the “Schedule eSubscribe Report” feature. This tool is available to eDataManager Premium Plus, eAccountManager Plus, eVideoManager and eAccessManager customers who already take advantage of Stanley CSS’ rich online eServices toolset.

Sonitrol iBase: The Next Level of Intrusion Audio Verification

Sonitrol Audio Verification technology, which was added to Stanley CSS’s portfolio of security services with the acquisition of Sonitrol Corporation in July 2008, has always been unique in the industry with its sound-based, not motion-based, audio verified intrusion protection.

By using proven, unique and proprietary audio impact technology, monitoring professionals are able to listen in—when an alarm is triggered—to determine whether a break-in is in progress, or whether a false alarm has occurred instead. If it’s an actual break-in, police are dispatched immediately and real-time information is readily provided to the responding officers.

The foundation of the successful advancement of its audio verification technology lies in Stanley CSS’ introduction of a completely new SonIP Central Station Platform, which combines Sonitrol’s unique verified audio alarm solution with the latest communication and audio technology. The new SonIP automation software allows the audio data to be sent over an IP connection, giving faster messaging transmission, faster uploads and faster downloads.

An advantage to the customer is new the versions can be downloaded without the necessity of dispatching a service technician or updating the Sonitrol control panel locally. The Stanley CSS’ state-of-the-art ProtectionNet Customer Service Centers in Minneapolis, MN and Baltimore, MD have been enhanced with the new SonIP monitoring platform and has over 40,000 customers on the new technology.

The strength of the successful advancement of audio verification is the new iBase control panel, the first Sonitrol product that combines intrusion protection and access control on a single panel and helps to satisfy the demands of more and more IT departments.

The Stanley CSS iBase control panel features a single board configuration with eight (8) loop inputs, four (4) audio inputs and two (2) access doors. It is designed to handle 65 percent of typical applications. The iBase advancements include faster high-speed modem connections, IP communications and two fully functioning access doors. Also, the capability to eliminate the need for POTS phone lines and their associated monthly charges is attractive to most customers, especially high volume customers, such as national retail chains and public school systems. With additional modules, the iBase system has the expansion capabilities to meet the needs of the entire customer base.

Stanley Performance Scorecard: Industry Leading Transparency

Also being taken to the next level is the Stanley CSS National Account Performance Scorecard. The Performance Scorecard is a premium service provided for Stanley national account customers that measures Stanley’s performance on the customer’s account in the five customer touchpoints: account management, installation, service, monitoring and billing. Since its inception, the Stanley Performance Scorecard has been a unique and unmatched quantitative evaluation tool that raises the bar for performance in the electronic security industry and supports Stanley CSS’ philosophy of being a true business partner that operates with an “open book” approach with its customers.

The enhancement includes a new section that will highlight the performance metrics of Stanley CSS overall, giving customers full visibility to Stanley CSS’ performance on all customer accounts. Key metrics will include: “Post Installation Survey Ratings,” “Early Communication on Installations,” “Fire Inspections Performed On-Time.” “Preventative Maintenance Performed On-Time,” “In-Standard Service Repairs”, “Average Time to Action on Alarms,“ Average Time to Personal Assistance on All Calls” and “Average Time to Acknowledgement on Alarms.”
