Stanley CSS Receives Unprecedented Seven Nominations for the Security Industry’s Prestigious 14th Annual Sammy Awards

NAPERVILLE, IL (February 19, 2009)—Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. has received a record seven nominations as finalists out of 12 categories for the electronic security industry’s prestigious 14th Annual 2008 SAMMY Awards, the highest number of nominations received by CSS to date. Sponsored by Security Sales & Integration, the magazine honors security dealers and integrators who exemplify professionalism and provide the finest example of excellence in their marketing, community service and installation endeavors. CSS is the only company in the history of the awards to be nominated in the most categories for the fourth year in a row.

CSS submitted eleven entries in total, seven of which they received nominations in the following distinguished categories: Installer of the Year – Large Company; Integrated Installation of the Year; Best Overall Integrated Marketing Campaign; Best Community Outreach Program; Best Sales Brochure; Best Company Logo Design and Best Company Newsletter. If CSS wins Integrated Marketing Program of the Year at this year’s ceremony it would be for the fourth consecutive year.

The awards program will take place on March 31, 2009, prior to opening day at the International Security Conference & Exposition (ISC) West at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

Award recipients are graded and judged by specific criteria including, but not limited to: customer service, system design, innovation, cost effectiveness, company representation effectiveness, lasting impact in the community and corporate vision.
