Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (Formerly HSM Electronic Protection Services, Inc.) Wins Top Marketing Program Award at Industry’s International Security Conference

NAPERVILLE, IL (April 5, 2008)—Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. (Stanley CSS), formerly HSM Electronic Protection Services, Inc., was twice honored during the electronic security industry’s international conference (ISC West) at the 13th Annual SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards. Finalists in an unprecedented six of 12 categories, Stanley CSS was awarded the top marketing award of the night, the Overall Integrated Marketing Program of the Year award for the third year in a row. Stanley CSS also won the Best Commercial/Indus­trial Sales Brochure for a second year.

The winning Integrated Marketing Program of the Year entry included items that encompassed creative pieces in all facets of the Stanley CSS marketing program, from the ASIS HSM-Stanley Double Agent Lounge tradeshow booth that debuted in Las Vegas with authentic black jack and poker tables and Secret Agent look-alikes to the very simple, but unique promotional item of custom playing cards with attention grabbing sayings on each such as “HSM Deals A Winning Hand;” “HSM has a full house of security services;” and “HSM customers win hands-down.”

The Best Sales Brochure was for the company’s Commercial Capabilities brochure. The concept for this brochure is “Take a closer look at HSM.” The theme is introduced on the cover and is exemplified by the die-cut windows that only show you a hint of the picture below… urging the reader to “Take a closer look.” When you open to the first page, the rest of the picture is revealed along with the topics of Intrusion Alarm, Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Online eServices and Integrated Security Solutions which are then presented throughout the brochure, allowing the reader to take a closer look at the company’s commercial security offering. Each photo was chosen to relate to key decision makers in the commercial security arena and make a bold impact by reaching across almost three quarters of the full page spread.

Grading and judging encompassed specific criteria including, but not limited to: originality, innovation, cost effectiveness, value and company representation effectiveness.
