Say that it is not necessary to contact Stanley CSS prior to having another company work on your security system.
Tell you that Stanley CSS is no longer in business or has been purchased by the company they represent.
Claim to work for Honeywell—Honeywell manufactures and sells security equipment to security companies like Stanley CSS, but Honeywell does not solicit business door to door.

Avoid Having Your Service Switched and Being Double-Billed

Unfortunately, if you sign a contract without checking all the details, you may end up paying two companies for the same service.

Know Who’s Knocking at Your Door

In order to better reflect our mission and services to our customers, we are now known as Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. We have not gone out of business or been purchased by another company; be aware of any door to door salesmen who use our name change to make this claim.
